Run the Blitz SS mesh filter. All the flow, none of the filtration except for the big stuff like larger pieces of sand/dirt and larger.

For what it's worth, IF you are going to run this, then run a JWT or Stillen Velocity stack and remove the filter. Their mounting plate is a velocity stack designed to smooth out the air flow before it gets to the maf sensor.

That might do it. It's not as well done as the Stillen/JWT IMHO. but the plate might be just long enough to straighten out the flow to the MAF.

Why not just take the filter off and run around the block?

If I find time, I probably will just to see how the car reacts...but without knowing really how it's going to effect actual power output, I'm going to leave the filter on for my next event.

I don't think it would make a big diff either way. I think motodyne ran some dynos with no filters and it didn't do much. I could be wrong.

I havn't dynod that actually. And I don't think it will.

Even if it did, its a marginal gain not worth persuing IMO. Just use a clean filter.

And above all, use an intake that keeps out the hot air. THAT'S WORTH PERSUING.
