Default injen exhaust and test pipes

hey bro's. i have the injen exhaust now and will be getting my test pipes shortly. personnally i love the angled pipes, the performance, and equally the sound. each to his own i guess. i do wonder just how much the sound will be altered and amplified when i install the test pipes. does anyone have this combo that can give me a soundclip or even a good explanation of what i am in store for? thanks

LOUD!! I sold my Injen SES after about 2 weeks. I went with the Borla, although I can say at times I do miss being the loudest car on the road at times.

The sound isn't too loud at light throttle but WOT is a different story.

sounds like music to my ears......... i am not concerned with volume at WOT rather then normal driving conditions even though i am sure it is only going to make it harder to shift at a rpm lower then 4500rpms. its o.k. if the car barks a little more then it bites for now, my friend zex will take care of that in sept.

I'm wondering about the same question i now have the SES and the intake combo, NX Express is calling buyt i wanna get the test pipes, concerned about TOTAL ricer sound or being TOO loud, i dont think the SES is loud at all but with the test pipes how loud can it get!!!! We'll still looking for a video clip or mp3 clip of that combo!!!!

I installed some high flow cats for a couple of days, they made the car much, much louder. I had to take mine off because it was too much for me.

So high flow cats made your car much louder, I thought they would be similar to stock. What kind of high flow cats are you speaking of???

I have the Crawford high flow cats. I could definitely tell that they added HP, but were just too loud for my tastes. They would be a great racing application, but just too loud for street use in my opinion. In my opinion, the car is twice as loud with the high flow cats (given I already have Injen exhaust, CAI and Nismo headers).
