Default APS 2.5" with TP Sounds like a honda HELP!!

I have just installed the APS 2.5" ture duel exhaust with the APS TP..
The car on revs has a rasp sound to it that sounds like a honda to me.. Does not sound clean at all.. Not sure if the muffler is bad or if it has to do with TPs??? Any input would be great thanks...

its the tp's , im not sure how the aps is setup but if its anything like the hks a x-pipe should do the trick and drop rasp.

Most exhaust's sound a little raspy with test pipes. Are they resonated? The only 3 exhausts in my opinion that sound good with testies are the evo2, borla, and nismo. I don't think the aps sounds that great in the first place.... so when you add test pipes it usually just makes it worse.... just an oppinion. good luck

The APS exhaust pipes are resonated.. The TP's are not.. When I get a chance maybe I will try with stock cats back on.. See if that helps..

Some of the rasp is from the test pipes leaning the motor slightly. Correcting your fuel curve will reduce the rasp to an extent.

i used to have APS 2.5 TD with HFC the same thing RASP ,Drone and low-end lose of power ,i`v just went back to Stock Exhaust ,,,WooW i`m back in Heaven .
although rasp is there (stock exhaust+Berk HFC) but 1000000 time`s better than where i was.
P.S : there is one thing i didn`t try ,,,X-Pipe alot of good reviews how X-pipes reduces RASP .
All The Best
