The prices look good. What would shipping be to San Jose, CA?? I seen the other thread that is gone now. I think it was a typo because you put $18 for shipping. That sounds super low.

Exhaust should weigh about 20 lbs. to ship 20lbs FedEX to San Jose it costs $18-19 i don't mark up prices.

 

Oooh!! That's a great price!! I was under the impression that it was a pretty big package. I understood the weight, but thought they would charge more for the "larger" size box.

It's not like it's already put together and comes in 1 huge box, the size of the box might knock it up a buck or two, but nothing crazy.

 

Saving only $20.00 for a group buy of 11 people is not much to get excited about. I'm not trolling to start stuff either just posting my oppinion.

 

It's more the fact that MSRP is 1,100, and the lowest I've seen online right now is 960 (my list price, which will be lower soon) but this is pretty cheap...

 

What's the ship time?
Is UPS ground cheaper?

What's better about this exhaust compared to a Borla? What is it made of? 20lbs sound awfully light. I'm definately interseted. Are there any dynos available. How loud is it. I don;t want to increase noise. Sorry about all the questions.

 

UPS is usually not cheaper, and I really don't trust them with expensive things.

As for 20lbs being light, is it? We haven't had an exhaust in here to weigh yet so I have no Idea how much it is....If anyone knows PM me so i can give exact shipping rates. Like I said we are a very new company, and haven't had much stock flow through for 350Zs yet.

 

How loud is it compared to stock? What about HP/tq gains?

I should be a bit louder than stock at idle and when WOT, partital throttle shouldn't make that much of a difference, you wont be going "It's so loud I can't hear myself think"

As far as gains NIMSO claims 6HP and 3.5 lb-ft @ the WHEELS, so about ~7-8HP and ~4ft-lb @ the crank. I don't know if there are low, or low estimates, but I haven't seen a dyno.

 

I can assure you that exhaust does not weigh 20 lbs. How do I know? Because I have it. The box is roughly the size of a large filing cabinet. The exhuast weighs closer to 50 lbs. Good luck. It's a great looking and sounding exhaust. Others may make more HP, but the quality of this exhaust is really nice.

You're the boss, but I'm pretty sure I read the nismo exhaust weighed somewhere around 50-60lbs, and generally thats $60 or so to ship through UPS... but your business, you know what you're doing

 

If the cost of the shipping were to be very high, then I would break up the package....I'll order one on monday to see the size and get some exact dimentions, unless someone can provide me with them.
