Was wondering what type of exhaust would be the best for this description...

i want it to bring out the muscle sound of the Z and want it to be loud but not obnoxious like the (civics )driving around .... if you know what i mean.
I am leaning toward the Hks... but i dont know i dont wanto regret it... Now with Hks.. Are they a good tuning company to build off of.. or Just Help.. im coming from Mitsbushi so im not really knowlagable with nissans

This topic is very subjective. Everybody has a different opinion on which exhausts sounds "nice". Just youtube a few sound clips of different exhausts or go to a local meet so you can check out a few exhausts in person. But yes, the HKS is a very nice exhaust

 

what your gonna wanna do is go to google. then enter in 350z exhaust clips. then search around hell youtube has millions.

if you keep posting like this your gonna get flamed reallllly bad.

id sugest some research first.

More than likely, HKS has been around longer than you have (founded in 1973).

They are one of the most well-known and respected import aftermarket brands in the world (they've been making stuff for Mitsubishis since the 80's).

As for your question about amplifying the stock exhaust note, I would suggest Turbo XS or Nismo.

I'm leaning towards Bassani. Can't really commit though. I'm also liking the Fujitsubo and the Hyper Medallion. Are the three at all similar? Which would have best power gains?

Which of these Exhaust would have more or best power gain... Everyone been tellin me its about the same just go for the sound.. But some of them i was lookin at have 5 - 10 hp difference.

So if someone could help me pick out an exhaust for the sound and the best power gain... sound i guess everyone has a different opinion about

 

Best power gains would probably be motordyne, the other will be close.

 

bassani and motordyne are proven to provide most gains but, everybody goes by what sounds the best
