Default What Headers Do You have? [ any power difference ? ]

I'm just curious what headers you guys have, I'm shopping around right now. I want to know if you feel any power added when you drive it and other changes.

How many times are you going to ask the same question?

Instead of the common misconception that "headers don't do anything", I'll chime in with this.

Saw a dyno of the Stillen headers on a revup motor (car had Stillen intake, MD 5/16 plenum spacer, MD mrev2, and Stillen true dual exhaust). Headers lost power and torque in low to mid rpms (losing 10wtq at 4500rpm). However, the headers made solid gains from 6200rpm to redline (peak of 8whp).

Based solely on this one test, headers will hamper your car's midrange, but help you up top. But ultimately, your car will be slower (less area under the curve). Unless your car is fully built NA (cams, headwork, etc), has a tuned ecu, or supercharged, it seems like headers will not really benefit you.

But this data is based on one header design, on a car with other mods. For example, putting DC Sports headers on a non-revup without other mods may have different results.
