Congrats on the car I own an 06 mine I normally have to add a quart oil before 3k miles.haha But I love my car lol. As for intake just either drop in a kn filter or jwt popcharger and call it a day. Thats what I did. Cai not really worth it.

Yo clutch - instead of buying an intake, get the plenum spacers or test pipes(or HFC's) instead.
Finally get yourself a set of lowering springs. For the looks, add a front lip. these mods won't cost you much and they're so much worth it.

i guess u're a hardworking dude and i think u deserve that Z since it's coming from your own sweat and blood!

good luck!

4) Tail Lights - Still Researching for best option, but want black
5) Head Lights - Still Researching for best option, but want black
6) Spoiler - Still Researching for best option
7) Performance Chip- Still Researching for best option
8...) All the little odds and ends, such as emblems and cf strut bar cover...

Yeah, you definitely won't find a chip lol. Don't expect to gain much power out of bolt on's. You can spend a hell of a lot of money trying to get more power naturally aspirated, but it just won't happen.

If you're just looking for a better sound, then yes, exhaust, test pipes, intakes, etc. are your best bet. Test pipes alone will increase your engine note tremendously.

If power is what you are looking for, I would get some lighter wheels and save up for forced induction. That is the only true way to get a lot of power out of the Z! Bolt-ons are fun and loud but, you can't get too far with them alone.

+1 For another non-oil burning 06'

Best power gainer for YOUR car, lightweight 18's. They can also help transform it into a nice looking car vs the G'd out POS it looks like now. I'll be you listen to Hip hop.

Leave the blingin' chrome 20's for the hooptie, you bought a Z, they dont belong on it...period.

On a postive note, congrats on the new car.

You will get flamed for your age because we have seen many posts about the youngsters wrecking their rides. We will give you a hard time to try to keep you safe. What did you drive before? I am 36 y.o. and have had fast sports cars since I was 16 so, I am not going to say you shouldn't own a fast car you just have to be careful and not drive like you want to. Realize that you dont have to race every Honda civic that looks at you.

I grew up in the car business. My family owned a shop that I worked hard at for many years. It was the best motavation for getting a business degree. So dont put that on the back burner.

Before you buy another thing do your research. The beauty of this site is what ever you are think about adding there is probably a person who has tried it or researched it already. You can cherry-pick your mods this way to make it the best for your budget. What is your budget?

Stay Safe! and congrats again.

Nice looking z. I have an 06 as well. Just get yourself a k&n filter and call it a day. use the rest of your money towards a plenum spacer.
Good luck
