Question wondering which exhaust to get?

i have an 08 350z. I was planning to get a new exhaust system. I have narrowed it down between the Greddy True Dual Ti-c or the MD's Shockwave Dual Ti and was wondering on other people's experiences. Greddy states that there's is only for turbo's is that true? and if i was able to put it in would it rob me of some hp& tq instead of gains. How does it compare to the Shockwave. I've been looking and so far have heard great reviews.

dude search. Shock wave better before you go turbo. Greddy you can still get and you will get some gain just it would be better to not get that unless your going turbo later/just for sound.

oh thnx i did read the FAQ sticky, sorry i recently joined. I was thinking of goin all motor and mess with the internals, then maybe put a twin turbo. But wouldn't an all motor be better since we run high compression.

if you scroll it says 350z turbo, i just figured it only helps with F/I. but if i were to put this on a stock Z wont it actually not give me much gains, since the piping is so large that the air velocity slows downs significantly

I dont know what your taste in an exhaust not is but I have a Fujitsubo exhaust and the damn thing is amazing.. its surprisingly quiet to about 5000rpm.

Chances are that your preferences in exhaust will change over time and with experience. The Motordyne system is the only one that permits use and easy swaps of interchangeable components (v-band clamps instead of usual flanges with bolts that rust out). Oh yes, and the greddy evoTT drones, big time. That said, so do some of the motordyne components, but you have many choices - up to you to pick the right one for you!

Motordyne shockwave is great but very loud if u DD the car. I have the motordyne gamma exhaust. It tones it down alot but still is a head turner!!

The v2 shockwave may be a tad quieter than the v1 and with the elimination of drone may sound much quieter from the cabin... Will have to wait for sound clips...
