Any dyno's yet for these on an HR? What about CEL's? I know they aren't supposed to trigger a CEL on the DE's.. but from everything I've read, a CEL on a test pipe is unavoidable with the HR engine.

No dynos yet but they are scheduled. There are many people running them on HR's without CEL's.

When you do the dyno, the test pipes will be the only variable, right?

Just got mine on, and i immediately noticed a sound difference. Deeper and louder VQ sound since i have stock exhaust. One thing i noticed though was that at around 2k rpm, if i step on it 50% or more, it sort of lags, like the acceleration would be normal below 2k, then at ~2k, car will feel like it lags for a millisecond then i will feel the power increase.

That hissing sound at 2k when you let go of the gas pedal.. Any way to get rid of it? I can hear it when i wind off and the rpm hits 2k.

Also... I noticed i had been getting bad mpg's... I'm sure it's because im stepping on it more.. I will report back about this issue after a few days of normal driving vs. spirited driving.

At 2K RPM? It sounds like what you hear and feel coincide with the graph below?

If it was regular test pipes it would have a much larger dip from 1.5-3K RPM, it would be much louder and rasp intensely on a stock exhaust.

And if your gas consumption has gone up, its probably has a lot to do with a lead foot.

You know you don't need the MD exhaust to have ART Pipes, right?

Why would anyone want polished pipes if you can't see them?

The polish adds about $70 to the price tag ....most people would rather save the $$$ and get the pipes for their sound and power gains.

If you really want every pennies worth of these pipes you need to tune your car. Tuning your car is essential if your doing bolt-ons,well for me at least.
