well i have art pipes, aam ypipe and agency power single.. as far as inlet/diameter matching up the anwser would be no. the art pipes are i believe 2.5 inch and the ypipe and exhaust are 3 inch. although when we were installing it we noticed where the ypipe and exhaust bolt together the ypipe's outlet was larger than the exhaust's inlet... kinda weird since they're both supposed to be 3 inch...

but yes AAM i heard was the most bang for the buck vs power y pipe. I was trying to buy it but seller did not bite... so ended up with Megan.. Still does the work
imo, a ypipe is a ypipe. the difference in $ isnt worth the 1-2 whp.. so rock on with your megan, lol.

Just want to bump this thread up.

I recently went from stock cats to test pipes on my 2007 350Z HR and they are just too loud for my tastes. So I just picked up a set of these ART Pipes and will have some real data for you HR guys soon!

The dyno's I get will have the cats/testpipes/art pipes as the ONLY variable so it will be clear, and they will all be done on the same dyno, perhaps on the same day. Will keep you guys updated.

Also, I just want to say.. I just got off the phone with Tony (Hydrazine) and he seems like a very nice guy. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. If these pipes work like they are said to, then I will be a very happy customer! As quiet as HFC's and as much power (if not more!) as test pipes? That's what I'm talking about! And because of those things, pending them being true, these are well worth every penny. Anyone can make a test pipe, it's as simple as welding two flanges on a slightly bent pipe. Not only do these ART Pipes have at least twice the materials and welding required as regular test pipes, but they actually took research and development to make! They're obviously worth AT LEAST twice as much as test pipes in my book.. and I don't know when you guys last checked but most quality name-brand test pipes are $300+ for the HR guys.

Anyways, I look forward to comparing these to my stock cats as well as some Berk test pipes (and maybe even a set of HFC's )!

Well I got a quote from my shop for a before dyno with test pipes, installation of ART pipes, and after dyno with ART pipes all on the same day. Then of course I'll also have my dyno from a few weeks ago with stock cats.

Hopefully I can make this happen!

Hey I've been searching but it's hard for me to find. Which bolts do I need to shave off during the install? The driver side pipe keeps hitting something

Its the 6mm stud with the arrow pointing at it.
It will make all kinds of noise if its not trimmed down.

Wow thanks so much for the quick response and awesome support for the VQ platform!

Also I've been driving for a couple of days and can't get it fixed until Monday. Will that damage the pipes?

No, not at all.

But it will be annoying with all the noise it makes. You can even cut it off with bolt cutters or even with a heavy guage wire cutters.

Same price. More value.

Ceramic coated stainless steel. Slightly more TQ. Slightly less sound and less heat.
