Default x pipe good or bad?

i got an 03 350z
im looking to get an exhaust on it within the next couple months
i wnna do a 14inch magnaflow after the cats and 2.25in pipes all the way back
the guy recommanded an x pipe or h pipe before the muffler after the cats
which one is better?
anyone personally own a similar setup?

im looking for the most power
its already going to sound pretty beefy

its been discussed before. If you do true dual you have the chance of losing the signature vq engine note. I have noticed this with my hks replica. The x pipe helps gain that sound back

Here's my true dual exhaust with Magnaflow resonated x-pipe (14386) with test pipes.

Not the best sounding exhaust, but the resonated x-pipe made a big difference in sound and cut rasp down.

Without the x-pipe, it would rasp HARD.
