Default Need help choosing the right exhaust system

Need help choosing the right exhaust system
I want to have a cat-back system (Y back + Y pipe), under $800, sound noticeable from stock (deep, rumble, fairly loud hear down the street, not raspy), clean appearance, & not very much drone inside the car while normal driving, won't rattle stuff, perfect fitment.

These are the ones I found;

-Invidia Y-Pipe Back Exhaust + Megan Y Pipe (I can't seem to find a Invidia Y pipe) (Cat-Back)

-Invidia Q300 Cat Back Exhaust

-Top Speed Pro 1 3" Y back exhaust + Top Speed Y Pipe (Cat-Back)

Which one of these would you all do. I need some votes. Positives negaitves on each system.

Also any other exhaust systems that fit what I described.

This is probably the hardest time I ever had to pick out an exhaust for a car. So many of them out there.

Thanks!

funny you are looking at invidia systems but didn't even consider their newest offering (gemini I think, it's like a bassani system..), that is probably the most attractive piece they offer and will definitely sound the best. right at your price point too. includes x pipe / mid pipes / mufflers..

Search is your best friend My version of loud and nice may not be loud and nice to you. If you know of anyone local with the exhaust you like/want, try your best to hear it in person. Videos, though nice, don't always give the true sound of an exhaust system.

Like Entaille ssid, why not consider the INVIDIA Gemini. I've had mine since Xmas and couldn't be happier. Vendors here have it on sale as well.

Agree.

Listen before buying.

Spring is here and time for regional 350Z meets. Go, listen, ask questions. Everything you mention is subjective. 350Z owners will be more than willing to take you for a drive so you can hear the exhaust before putting out $800.

The Invidia Gemini HS02N3ZGID catback exhaust. Where's the cheapest I get this for. Possible between $650-800 shipped? Which vendors on here?

I agree this is probably the best one ive seen so far. Sounds similar to stock but cleaner and louder, looks stock but bigger and flamed tips (not ricer with big mufflers hanging), nice welds, quality, performance gains, and probably not droning compared to the top speed exhaust that i was looking at.

So what's everyones vote on these systems;

Power, Sound, Looks?

Megan Y Back exhaust + Megan Y Pipe

Indivia N1 + Y Megan Y Pipe

Borla Catback (which kinda out of my range)

CX Racing HKS Replica http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=350Z

$450 Shipped guy would do.

Invidia is pretty, in your price range, distinct from stock, and matching all of your other criterion.

You don't need our approval, just buy it. I would.

Lol it looks like you have your mind set on a y-pipe back single exhaust. But then you throw in the Borla system in your list?!

You really need to do a lot more research and i'd skip all the megan racing/Ebay knockoff exhausts if i were you.

I'm done with this thread. Remove if want to. I decided not to do these knock offs of the hks exhaust.

I know there's alot of people that have them and some like and dislike.

I heard lot of videos and sound is good but all have a rattle and rasp little after reving and don't have the VQ sound anymore.

And as far as looks. See to much exhaust from the back.

I'm most likly going to get a megan full cat-back exhaust. Louder then stock, similar sound factory has, bigger tips, bigger piping, better bends, factory style, also more of a known brand.

I can get the Y back exhaust + Y pipe (cat-back) for $595 Shipped.

I think that's pretty good deal.
