I just bought a used nismo exhaust i need to replace the y pipe i used the vin to retrieve the part number 20020-ev00a
according to my catalog it only say 'hr' as opposed to the muffler and mid- pipe specifying 'nismo' does anyone know if this is really the pipe needed to go with the rest nismo exhaust or does that y pipe have a different part number please help me out

 

what year is your car you mit have the hr y pipe already,now theres two type of nismo exhaust system theres the aftermarket one the s tune one comes with its own y pipe and theres the one that the nismo model comes with that one has a regular hr y pipe and mid pipe the back en canister is a bit larger makes more noise thats it check the market place you can find a hr y pipe or the nismo y pipe

 

Forget what u read and ditch the nismo y pipe and buy a 3" eBay y pipe

 

hopefully u have the s-tune and not just a nismo exhaust off of a nismo edition z, they are different...in either case just buy a motordyne xyz

looked into it i cant justify 500 for a y pipe i dont know who motordyne thinks they are to even ask that,

it is a s-tune exhaust but i cant find part number for it only for the hr and my car is a 2004 base

nismo y pipe has flex section and so do my high flow cats so hows it gonna crack, or you just jumping on the other guys *****....this is a forum why dont you try to justify what your telling me by stateing stuff from your experince tell me why you think its worth it, cause you just saying it dont mean ****....


And my original question was is the nismo z's y pipe the same one that come with the a/m s-tune exhaust thats all you people get way off subject you's all belong with the haters on zilvia

i bought a used nismo s-tune exhaust. The exhaust needed a new y pipe so when i went to nissan the only one they said they could get is the "y" pipe from the nismo z, he said there is no part number for the y-pipe that comes with the s-tune exhaust, that i would have to buy the entire exhaust to get that y pipe(typical nissan obserdness) however he ordered me the pipe from the "nismo z", My question is are these two y pipes the same and will it match my exhaust......thanks FOR ACTUALLY ATTEMPTING TO HELP...

BASICALLY IS THE "HR'S" Y PIPE THE SAME AS A NISMO S-TUNE Y PIPE

 

the nismo y pipe on the nismo z's is not the same as the s-tune y pipe which can easily be found on this forum using the search button as well as all the cracking issues with using the nismo y pipe with high flows or test pipes....i went thru 2 sets of berk high flow cats which have flex and 1 nismo y pipe...there is plenty of info on this from other people as well as myself by using the search button...

they may match up but they are not the same...why would the HR y pipe be the same as a nismo s tune y pipe? the nismo z's have a factory nismo exhaust that is not the same as the aftermarket s-tune
