Default Installed the Injen SES (my feedback)

i know there are a lot of reviews out there but i thought it couldnt hurt to say what i thought

damn thing is loud....i love it...if you have a 6mt its a little easier on you but if you have a 5at you almost cant keep it in drive

you gotta keep in in shift mode and leave it around 3400 rpms (thats when the sound is the best)

the sound is good all around (very deep in the low end and gets even better in the higher rpms

gains are definately noticed between 3 and 4k rpms

i wont be dynoing so please dont ask ( i havnt had a baseline anyway so it wont be worth it)

you just have to trust me that there are gains...

any questions just ask

another thing....anyone that buys an exhaust based on sound clips will prob be happy..but it wont be cause he heard the clip

basically you have to hear the exhaust in person..sound clips all sound the same

does the install require welding to hold it in place? or is it fully boltin?

I noticed the sound clips all suck, borla sounds just like stock, and injen just sounds louder... cant really tell a tone at all.

I wish they could hide the canisters a bit better with the straight tips, hopefully they will, I just want to have the sound, not the look.

direct bolt on...uses some stock pieces...every thing else is supplie

all the sound clips suck...believe me when i tell you this...

the car sounds amazing....yes its very loud....NOOOOOO it does not sound ricey....if you eqaute loud with rice then ferraris and porches are rice (cause they are loud)......

i took my car to this custom shop yesterday (they did work for me a while ago when my car was completelystock)....

when i stepped on the gas they all dropped their jaws....i cant speak for other exhausts but this sounds amazing....i also plan on getting high flow cats or test pipes ..and possibly headers...at that point the car supposedly sounds F1(i wish).....

a g35 owner that was at the custom shop said he wanted the exhaust and intake (not sure if the intake makes it sound better cause i installed them both at the same time)

i will be meeting the guy with the veilside and i guess we can both write what we think of eachothers cars

the low end sound is a very deep grumble...it starts to scream in the higher rpms (like race cars but not quite ..know what i mean)

How did you get the angled exhausts to angle correctly? I just installed the exhaust last week at a shop, but the guy made the right one hang lower and out more and he says he can't adjust it. I've been fiddling with it with my buddies and I can't seem to get it right! I gotta add that sound clips DO NOT do this exhaust justice. Everytime I step on that gas I can feel that growl and a big ol smile comes on my face . Not ricey at all and I love the look... if I can get it on right! DAH!
