Default Exhaust tip help

hello my fellow 350z friends. i currently have an 03 Z with the original super ses exhaust. unfortunately, the exhaust tips on those look hideous. they look like they are rolled. i would love to change the tips being i enjoy the sound of the exhaust so i want to keep the exhaust. what are some options i can do to change the tips only. thanks for the help

heres what it looks like at the moment. i hate that lip

This looks like a ghetto mod.

Pick some exhaust tips.
Match inner to outer diameter so they slip on.
Have them welded in place. About $80.

BTW the bumper appears to be burned.

Can you cut the lip off? Maybe 1/2" or so?

IMHO I'd get a new exhaust anyway. Maybe go single.

+1. If you're not in the market for a new exhaust, use a cutting wheel and cut that part off then clean it up with a sanding tool. I wouldn't do anything more than that if you're not going to buy a new exhaust.

To start you might want to try some nevrdull on it to clean it up. It will take some elbow grease since it looks pretty dirty.. but might be a cheaper option.

Visit your local Muffler Shop, they will have a better understanding of their limitations. I'm thinking you may be able to weld on a HKS style tip, but in total I can see that running $200 between parts and labor.
