Talking Just installed Nismo Exhaust today

I just installed Nismo Exhaust
for the sound,When I turn the engine first time
I didn't feel any big difference than stock
It was little deeper though
I even feel like It's little more quiet than stock at idle
Then I pulled it up and
sound comes alive
It is noticeably louder and deeper than stock,
not overly loud at all
all I can say is It's terrific
veryvery nice tone like others mentioned
but it's little quiet for me
Also, I feel that I got some Power at higher rpm and smoother
but I am not sure yet
Overall, I love it
Oh! I saw Amuse R1 Titan Exhaust ,at the
shop when I went to install my exhaust there
It was the first time to see it in person
It was beautiful looking but tips were too big for me
Also, they had the Y-Pipe
Did Amuse release Y-pipe???
I didn't think so
Anyway , I am very happy with my new exhaust
one problem is that it make me drive much harder
than before
Thanks for Jeff, and Jenny and all the information
I got from this forum
I will post pics and sound clips by this weekend
and I am planning to get CAI soon
Is there any differences between Nismo, Aem, and Injen
for sound and gains??
and also I am considering High flow cats or test pipe
but Is it Okay for daily Z, and legal???
I want some more gains and
little deeper and louder sound
Which is the best way??
I need your advice

good to here your happy with it,,,i also just got an exhasut and CAI and i drive much harder ....the CAI is sort of a stupid little mod...if you really want optimal power people have just installed the pipe instead of the entire intake the pipe is 80 bucks i think...or you can put a POP charger on.....the test pipes and high flow cats will both give you more power and sound

test pipes are half the price (around 2 or 250) but they have a little raspy sound and they WONT pass emmisions

high flows will give you great sound...good power...and WILL pass emissions but will cost 500...test pipes will give a little more power though (less restriction)

sounds like high flows are a better investment for you...

So glad your happy with your new system!!! The high flow cat's SHOULD be your next mod. You will be happy with the sound and they will pass the sniffer test. I've been having the same problem as you..... ever since I've been throwing mod's at my car I've been driving the hell out of the poor thing!!!

Hey K.G.

Glad to hear you like your exhaust!

If you want to make the exhaust louder go with a set of Random Technology High Flow Cats ($500 to forum members).

I would go with the NISMO intake over the others for the Water Diverter Valve. You can get a WDV for the AEM but then the cost is way more then what we have the NISMO Cold Air Intake for ($269).

Enjoy the exhaust, you will begin to love it more and more each drive.

Want to make even BIGGER power up top?

How about the best NA power adder to date?

Check out the plenum! Gotta focus on the areas that need more improvement!

Does the Nismo cold air intake make more intake noise than the stock intake? By noise I mean the sucking sound you sometimes hear from aftermarket air filter systems.

yes, you get a bigger sound from the engine bay. Not much louder but definatly noticable

I second that emotion.

The cats will be a definite plus for added power and a more thrilling exhaust note.

Enjoy... and yes, you are so correct... my car is being much driven harder after the mods.

The cats are the best bang for the buck. If I had it all over to do again and I will I'd start with those first.. and see where that leeds me.
