Default How Hard are Resonators to install?

How Hard are Resonators to install? I'm looking into motordyne act pipes/resonators if that helps. I'd like to know if my friend and i can just throw my car on his lift and bolt them straight on or if I have to have a professional install them. Also just out of curiosity (not that it makes a difference in my decision making) are these legal in missouri where cats are required? My brother says they are but i am skeptical. Thanks.

If they're a bolt-on part, then you and your friend should be able to tackle it yourselves.

And yes, they're legal in Missouri. As long as your cats are still on the car, you're fine.

easy as long as you have the right tools and you soak the bolts with PB Blaster or Kroil overnight. With a lift it will be even easier.

The hardest part was getting the top bolt off of the foctory cat on the driver side. I think i needed a 2ft extention with a swivel neck to get that bolt off. and that was on a lift...

Are you talking about resonated test pipes?
Or MD ART pipes?
Or what?

I'm talking about MD ART pipes but what is the difference between the resonated test pipes compared to the ART pipes? I am new to exhaust systems so don't flame.

Well for one, the ART pipes are about 4-500 dollars more expensive haha.
Apparently they give a unique sound, more power, and less rasp than traditional test pipes. But someone correct me if i am wrong, I don't have them.

ART pipes are not LEGAL... They get rid of your cats and will NOT pass emissions...That is what Tony(Motordyne) told me... That is also why I did not get them

Why not just get Art pipes + MD XYZ pipe with Cat module? It'll be legal then

Resonated test pipe includes a resonator. The function of the resonator is noise reduction.
