I predict it will be just like the Kinetix - no power gain on an N/A engine.

As long as the plenum volume can accommodate the flow rate of each velocity stack, then this setup should be very similar to ITBs, but not quite.

We will dyno the car with the stock manifold, then with the new one, then have the shop tune the car then run nitrous. The results will be published as they come.

This is a picture of the construction of the Kinetix SSV manifold:

Using a larger TB (with less dramatic elbow from TB to manifold) and intake tube should net you more power, but it doesn't seem like the design of the Kinetix is that much different. It has a vstack design as well. Is the diameter of the stacks larger?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Didn't the Kinetix v5 actually lose power on N/A engines?

OK, now I'm interested.

The Kinetix design does not have true velocity stacks. It is more of a pipe flair... IMHO a poor design. I think their intake would work better without that flair, but it's tough to tell. The full radius on our design will be much better than Kinetix.

Kinetix:

Mine:

Also, the flow from the TB to the plenum will be much different than Kinetix design allowing air to flow more naturally... If all goes as planned it will be finished this weekend.

Thanks. Only time will tell how this will work out. Who knows maybe I'm 100% off base - the dyno doesn't lie.
