See if the battery is dated. If this is the original battery from 2004 I recommend a new one.

Yes, you have a spacer like previously stated. And +1 to get rid of those rims... Car will be faster and look better without those 20s!!

No one is telling him he HAS to get volks, work or any other expensive brand.
Just a set of stock rims would be an improvement.

Those aren't even fashionable/moderately good looking and heavy.
They're ghetto and heavy.

I never gave a **** about being cool as other people's opinions don't matter when you are strong in your own.

I like how it looks on the 20's in chrome, though my number 1 choice would have been gloss black. But it came with new Falken rubber all the way around so I'm not complaining.

Thanks for all the help on the plenum question, much appreciated. Flame away on my rims, kids.

That's always a good tip, thanks for the reminder. Thankfully it is new as of December 09.

yes it has the spacer from the pics..under where ur k&N black tube is do u see a valve or anything like that..the spacer i had was the iso thermal and had a valve to turn on and off to stop or flow coolant to the throttle body, keeps cooler temps with it closed but cannot be closed under 55 degrees...if u dont have the valve then u just have the spacer and no need to worry about it..

on a side note
THE RIMS ARE GAAAAAAYYY!!! absolutely horrible and look so bad and are just big and heavy and should be on a hooptie( really should not be on anything)...i cannot say what i am truly thinking as it may be racist

Nice car, grats on purchase.

However, look if you like the way the rims look that's completely fine, but having those HEAVY 20's on there not only makes your car slower, it's killing your gas mileage, wearing down your suspension and causing car accidents from blinded drivers.
just sell them and get some stockers, no one is telling you to get TE37's in glossblack or white, or CE28'S in white, or maybe even RPF1's.

Yup, clearly has a spacer. Nice to find mods you didn't have.

+100000 on the hideous rims (this is being generous). Wow. I bet they weigh a ridiculous amount too.

Welcome to the forum, glad we could be of service.

We're offering some friendly advice on the wheels, no one is bashing you directly.

Hate....to hate is to envy someone and want what that person has. I'm sure none of us want those ugly *** wheels on our cars.

Like Waizzz said, we are just giving our opinions on what we (99%) of Z owners know that 20" chrome wheels don't go with our cars. Maybe on G35 sedan, but not on G35C or 350Z.

It's retarded to say that we are hating because trust me, we AIN'T!

Lol not to be mean but if you like those rims you might want to rethink owning a Z and purchase a VIP Caddy or something of that ilk.......
