Default MD ART Pipe + XYZ Pipe + Nismo Exhaust = Mustang?

I just installed the Motordyne XYZ pipe with HFC and it totally changed the tone of my exhaust from in-cabin. It has a lower/bass-like tone now, drones a little, and sounds like a mustang... And when i go over 2.5k, the VQ sound from in-cabin is totally gone, but from the outside, it still retains it... So that's the weird thing... And when i WOT, it seems like the car wants to scream, but then is muffled. Maybe i'll capture an incabin video but not sure how effect it would be in producing the exact tone i'm experiencing. Just wondering if anyone with XYZ pipe & HFC and Nismo exhaust is experiencing the same thing?

edit: when i had just the ART pipes with Nismo S tune, it still retained the VQ sound from inside cabin and the car just screamed instead of roared
Below is the clip of ART pipes + xyz pipe + nismo exhaust on an HR 350z.

I have a no "sounds like" reply rule, but will make an exception. This is one of the most unique 350Zs that I have heard.

Lol davidv...

The exhaust sounds so different from when you're in the car and when you hear it from outside the car. Like i said, inside, it's got a deep tone (reminds me of when i had the Greddy tic single), totally different from the sound outside...

So what do you guys think of the sound... Unique as in good? Definitely no rasp or anything so that's good. Just sounds a little metallic for my taste. i was looking more for a purrring tone like this exhaust right here (nismo knock-off) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feryR0dlgy8

I think it sounds great bro Keep it Its crazy how much a Y pipe changes the sound. I have a S tune Nimso exhaust with a JIC Y pipe and my set up sounds much diff then my buddies Z. Which is also a S tune Nismo exhaust but he has the Nismo Y Pipe. Stay with what you got i like your set up better then that other video you posted.

ah....OP...that's how it's suppose to sound...

and

OP

it's a good thing...

I took the resonator off my stock mid pipe and I sounds close to that...

reving up doesn't sound like a stock VQ anymore but on decleration it gives off the note...

the second video might not have test pipes or art in your case...

enjoy it...

hey OP maybe you should ask MD if the xyz pipe may change the tone a little, my exhaust has a different tone from what your experiencing. I've sent you sound clips but it doesnt sound the same. I would ask MD for assitance. But it sounds great to me.

thanks guys....... and ya uzme8679 it does sound quite diff from the sound clips you sent me, but then you only have the art pipes + nismo cat back right? not the xyz.

in my clip, i only revved to like 3k at the beginning of video, then first take off is around 2k, 2nd take off around 4k rpm... didnt do a wot as it sounded kind of loud in the deserted area.

i have the art pipes stillen y pipe and nismo exhaust the second clip i sent is with the fulll combo with that popping sound, But your exhaust sounds great man, may just not be what you were expecting. But i may be your y pipe that is causing the sound your refering to. My exhaust screams up top and i have the vq sound during normal acceleration and deceleration.

I hope your comparing that to a V6 Mustang or something, because that doesn't sound at all like any 4.6L or 5.0L Mustang I've ever heard in my life.
