Anyone know if a g37 coupe exhaust would fit an 06 350z?
besides what everyone is saying of longer the G37s have different hangers on their exhaust. the G35 one is just a little longer but has the same hangers.
So talked with some guys and it seems that some people run 370z/g37 oem exhaust on their 350z/g35. So Im assuming they fit? I know the y-pipe is a direct fit, but the other parts might need to be modified...Just found a really good deal on a full g37 oem exhaust and thinking about jumping on it...
What would the benefit of that be??? What is the reason you are so insistent on doing this? Like others have pointed out, G exhausts (both G37 and G35) are longer than the Z exhausts due to the longer wheelbase of the G.
It will still look like stock and the performance gains will be marginal at best. Sounds like a waste of time and money to me. Just get a decent aftermarket exhaust.

...and the benefit of putting a G37 exhaust on your Z would be??? You still haven't answered that question.
The G37 and 370Z exhaust is also restrictive. Look at the big gains the VQ37VHR guys are getting with aftermarket exhausts. Again, I think what you want to do is a foolish waste of time and effort. You would be better off saving up for a used aftermarket exhaust or just leaving your Z stock for now. Pinching pennies when trying to modify a VQ usually results in FAIL.
