Mods before anyone asks

06 revup airbox w/k&n filter
Z1 3in MAF housing
Samco intake tube
DMK intake (ported lower collector, lower plenum, and raised top) http://g35driver.com/forums/intake-e...-manifold.html
JWT S1 cams (with HR valve buckets)
UR crank pulley
PPE longtube headers
Gemini invidia exhaust (maybe losing a little power here exhaust is 2.3in outlet for headers is 2.5)
Did you do your cams and headers together?

Where did you get the HR buckets, were they used or from a vendor?

Sound clip by chance?

No, I installed the headers after the cams. The dyno on the previous page shows the same day before and after.

I'm going back to the same shop after I found out what my lowend power loss was.

The Hill's dyno showed no losses from before headers/cams. I just want to redo my dyno on RT's just to be sure of the gains and retune my nitrous map.

HR buckets my mechanic got from the dealer.

I'll try to make a sound clip this weekend. I have a couple at the track, but you really can't hear the car.

i didnt get to drive it today because i dont have my driver seat bolted on yet, i had custom super low seat rail made from my buddy and need a few more holes drilled..

car has been fully guted and caged for the past two, three weeks and finally had the chance to install them on my day off. now will have to wait for a few more days or a week for my y pipe to be made..

i started the car with open header and its sounds awesome loud LOl...

Did you get a chance to weigh the LTH vs oem headers + cats? Curious what weight savings can be had.

ok guys so headers are in and sorry about a long wait.. but here are the couple pics i took when installing

This is the space that i was working with on one of the sides, must be patient to install headers becuse it takes hours for the install...

the passenger side has plenty of room to get to the header and easier when you have a lift to work with...

quick pic

passenger header off pic

ok so once the headers installed i was checking for clearance issues and found this. right at the end of the catz there is a little heat shield that needed to be removed just because we came up a little close.. no biggie

passenger header checking for clearance and came up close on the motor mounts but theres enough room... bad angle

these last two pics worried me a little but will soon find out what happens with the steering column..

there isnt any contact with the header or the wrapping but it is short by a mm or so..once i get my car on the ground will take some good runs in a open parking lot to see if the steering column burns through the wrapping or check if theres any contact once it burns through....

will get it on the dyno soon and ill take vid for sound clip..

probably the header wrap taking up extra space.

Granted I have a DE, but here is pic of my steering clearance.

Nice to have another car to compare looking forward to your dyno. Hopefully my lowend issue is just my car since I'm auto.

So far I'm the only DE and your the only HR with these headers.

Funny that dip shows on a mustang and dynojet, but not on a dyno dynamics.
