Question CEL P0420 Test Pipe / HFC - Non-foulers

My shop installed GTM RTP's on my 2007 g35s and unfortunately even with the extended o2 J-Bung my car is throwing CEL P0420.

I wonder why it's throwing only P0420, which is the passengers side and not P0430 which is the drivers side?

Berk and GTM were kind enough to explain that both these codes do not affect performance.

Berk has recommended to use stainless steel wool and maybe purchase non-foulers. Where is everyone buying these parts from? Links are appreciated.

Anyone else running this code with their RTP/HFC? What was your solution/experience?

I was also worried that maybe my o2 sensors were bad so I pulled some live data from my OBII scanner:

O2S B1 S1 (V) 0.445
O2S B1 S2 (V) 0.280

O2S B2 S1 (V) 0.900
O2S B2 S2 (V) 0.290

Does this look right?

Thanks!

I thinnk its really rare that the non-foulers work on 07's...usually you'd just have to clear the codes manually

Some cars throw them some don't. In my experience if it throws it the first time, it will always throw it, even with defoulers. The CEL should eventually go away.

you can buy non foulers at your local autozone (2 for each side). I also noticed that if I put anything other than Shell, Exxon or Chevron gas in my car I would through a CEL.

Mine came on after 93 miles with the GTM RTP's on my 07 350Z. I got the can tuned and had the tuner turn off the cat codes. No more light! I would recommend getting an uprev tune as your A/F is most likely lean with your test pipes, you want to make the best of your power mods anyway.

Mine was weird. It being the 03 it wasn't "supposed" to throw them. For a long time it didn't, but after the stereo install the ECU was reset so it starting throwing it in weird increments. Well over 200 miles of driving it took to throw it. Just installed the foulers yesterday during an oil change. I've got about a 5 hour drive to visit home for the holiday and the long weekend so I'll let you guys know if it throws em again.

When you get your emissions...can't they tell which codes you've deleted? I know they can tell if you recently reset your ecu.

Keep us updated!

Can anyone do me a huge favor and read their o2 sensor voltages off their OBD II scanner?

It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
