Default Need help deciding which exhaust to install!

So long story short I currently have Apexi N1 exhaust with a japtrix y pipe which for those that don't know is basically a V pipe...there is no Y at all so it allows a lot more air flow. I love the way it sounds and it has good tones, but it is very subtle and quite.

This last weekend I bought a HKS knock off with test pipes to boot. The original plan was to was to trade exhaust for more air flow since the HKS replica is td 2.25" all the way where mine is only 2.75" or 3" (I can't remember off the top of my head), but I have been listening to a lot of HKS replicas and especially with test pipes, and I'm not sure I'm loving the sound. If I don't trade then I'm just going to install the test pipes on my current Apexi and call it good.

I need opinions!

This is my actual exhaust on my car.

And here are some replicas

And with tp's

Let me know what you think...but no I am not buying another exhaust, choose between these two

Members spend lots of money swapping exhaust components trying to find that perfect sound. I think it is a waste but whatever toots your horn.

ill gladly sell yuo my brand new mangnaflow resonated x pipe that replaces the H crossover on that knock off exhaust. I had test pipes on mine as well and was planning on installing this as it helps the sound and performance tremendouly. Theres a ton of threads and yotube clips on it... please search.
they are 100 bucks shipped from performance peddler, but now that ive gone FI and single turbo, i need a reverse Y pipe and wont need this anymore.

Either way, check it out.

After going through about 4 different exhaust i realize something. It all becomes a noise after 1000 miles. I mean when you first get it you're all like OHH YEAHH LISTEN TO THAT!
Then after that honeymoon phase it all sounds like a exhaust. Yes I know some sounds better than other etc. etc. etc. you won't even remember the difference between them down the road.

Personally I loved the sound of the Motordyne Shockwave TDXv2, paired that with ART pipes. Great performance and sound... I'm going to save up for this combination, If I were you i'd do the same, but whatever you like of course its your car.

Here's a great writeup and videos from a member here,

I have the real HKS exhaust with Z1 test pipes.
Sounds a LOT better, IMHO, than the replica videos posted.

If you really want me to take a video and post.
Let me know.

So I like some of the replicas I listen to, but not others...it's weird. Also I have come across a lot of videos where the replicas run into problems with the addition of tp.s such as a hiss or audible back flow . On the other hand I have heard some I really like. I think it depends who produces the replica. Ebay version =.

I think I'm going to just stick with mine and throw on the tp's. I don't think there is any way I would feel a difference before or after a tune between the two systems anyway and mine sounds better imo
