Last night I installed the y pipe without an issue. ![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon21.gif)
Didnt need that much PB or wd40, but when I get to the muffler/midpipe flange......![suicide](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/suicide.gif)
I look to place the deep socket.....
14mm nut is rounded out...![suicide](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/suicide.gif)
on the other side... previous owner (or dealer) places 2 nuts over each other holding the flange and the ground wire...top nut was also rounded....![suicide](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/suicide.gif)
Who the hell does this?!![Confused](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Anyone know if shops can break these nuts off or you guys think they will charge and arm and a leg just for 2 nuts...?![dunno](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/dunno.gif)

Get some of these and when you use them make sure you get the extractor socket on as good as possible.

I bought and extractor set (using www.retailmenot.com for discounts
) and I removed one of the nuts. The other one was spinning on the bolt ( seems the threads were gone) then I saw that I could just slip the exhaust off the rubber hangers...
