Angry Damn theres always 1 bolt....

Last night I installed the y pipe without an issue.
Didnt need that much PB or wd40, but when I get to the muffler/midpipe flange......

I look to place the deep socket..... 14mm nut is rounded out...
on the other side... previous owner (or dealer) places 2 nuts over each other holding the flange and the ground wire...top nut was also rounded....

Who the hell does this?!

Anyone know if shops can break these nuts off or you guys think they will charge and arm and a leg just for 2 nuts...?

Get some of these and when you use them make sure you get the extractor socket on as good as possible.

It's what happens when you don't care and use a whizzy gun

+1 for the extractor set, they're fantastic, never had anything they couldn't remove.

I bought and extractor set (using www.retailmenot.com for discounts ) and I removed one of the nuts. The other one was spinning on the bolt ( seems the threads were gone) then I saw that I could just slip the exhaust off the rubber hangers...

Exhaust and Y pine are in

I think he was referring to the stripped nuts, not the earthing.
