Check for pinching of any vacuum lines, make sure there are no leaks. Pray you didn't damage the MAF or Throttle Body during installation

Well, the maf never came off the Cai, it sounds as if it isn't getting fuel on start up. We can't find a air leak anywhere we used brake cleaner to test for leaks all around the gasket.

Try doing the idle re-learn procedure.

When I installed mine, I took it to the dealership. They used their handheld computer to relearn the idle. Not sure what the difference is, but it worked like a champ.

**Update**

On start up with the engine cold, it starts up and runs fine. But once warmed up, once again start up is stalling shortly after start up.

I guess I will go to the dealership and have them hook up a computer.

Mine has been doing that for years, it actually started doing that when i installed my Popcharger. Quick bump of the throttle after start, and all good.

Sounds like one of three things.

1) You need to successfully complete a throttle position re-learn.

2) Follow that with a successful idle air learn

3) Do you have an aftermarket intake or TB problem?

Its a leak, see my thread. I had the exact same problem. I bitched and argued that it wasn't a vacuum leak. I took it off, rebolted it all down to torque and used blue thread locker, did iavc relearn and unplugged battery overnight and its been perfect since.
