Default Y pipe suggestion for Nismo S-tune

I found a midpipe and muffler for the S-tune that I most likely will be purchasing I did a lot of searching on the forums without much luck. What would be an affordable Y pipe to keep the sound as close to the S-tune as possible?

I like Motordyne's because they have modular options, but it's pricey. On a side note, there's a used Stillen y-pipe for sale in the regional forums (Northeast, $150).

If you're looking for a decent Y-pipe for not too much $, the OEM HR Y-pipe isn't bad.

This may be a noob question but will the diameter of all these pipes line up? Also I heard the stillen y pipe isn't the best quality.

They all line up, doesnt really matter. Motordyne is best, proven gains.

I even hear that the cheap $100 ebay y-pipe holds up fine. But can't go wrong with motordyne.

Well i got this whole set up used on the market place for 600 bucks. I think it will be pretty hard to find another one because not to many guys rock the JIC y pipe. I would search for a new one if you don't wanna wait or just keep your eye out for a MD pipe.

Before I changed my exhaust I had found just the nismo y-pipe and people said not to bother since the HR is almost identical. You can get the HR for dirt cheap, and there are a dime a dozen. And if you dont like it you can get another y-pipe since you barely will spend on the HR
