Also commenting again on my opinion but doubt they will do a group by since it won't be mass produced it would be one guy fabbing cutting and welding all himself. It's not like an exhaust where a tribe full of kids in China made 1500 or more of them
Yeah I know, I highly doubt they would do to that for that exact set of reasons, It was really just a bit of wishful thinking.

I'd call motordyne to see if their m370 Im would work for you guys. Or get real sassy and make the gtr manifold fit. I read the thread about it awhile ago, but it can be done. What was it fuel rails, bolt holes, and some other stuff. That doesn't sound impossible. Maybe expensive, but a used mani goes for around 900$ or you can buy an after market one. I mean compared to an exhaust if it came in under 2g and made the same power itd be worth it right? And great if you ever went boosted.
As far as I know the M370 is just an HR manifold made to fit a 370Z. I toyed with the idea of boring the TB inlets with my spare manifold, going from the stock HR TBs which are 60mm to 75mm doesnt seem possible, we would remove entirely too much plastic to get them to even bolt up

the 2 I bought that was for a maxima 09 are in fact 75mm at the butterfly plate from 80mm at the inlet.

Yeah your right, if you check the post below that...I feel real silly, I've been looking at the back of the 2k9. I put my put in my mouth, and waldo36 even told me that the other day. Long day+ stupidity= saying stupid stuff like that.
I even went through some old notes where I had measurements of the 2k9, and I was like why was I flipping my lid over the m45? I guess I got all in the ls2 tb, and just came across the m45. I thought I found the hidden nissan tb black sheep. I had it all written down like two pages apart. I said some silly stuff that wasn't true, and put false information out there. I apologize too the 350z community

Lol we forgive you , btw Npr I posted some vids for you on the PPE thread since you asked about Nismo Stune exhaust paired with PPEs. Let me know if the links dont work, this site has always been a hassle for me when it comes to posting youtube videos.

I just copied and pasted them, and it sounds fantastic!!! Wow! ! I was waiting for the fly by to load and I turned around, and I just heard it and I was like what was that! I had to watch it 3 times. Amazing! More money I gotta spend on the car.

Haha thanks bro, glad you like it. Gotta spend money lol headers were the only expensive part really, lucked out and got my nismo for like $300 in mint condition a few years ago sold the Ypipe to a friend for $100.

Brandon I was just observing your engine bay photo, any reason why they welded the MAF bung on the bottom? Harness wouldn't reach or you just turned the pipe over to look cleaner? Also did CIN experiment with any "optimum" location for the MAF? Such as if the location was any better closer or farther from the TBs? Sorry for so many questions lol trying to figure out where to put my MAFs when I set everything up.

I broke 2 of the nismo y pipes and called it done with it. That's a good deal though. It's funny how now it's the bits people said didn't make gains, like headers and intakes...are showing to make gains.

Like two of us want to incorporate a larger intake pipe into the Injen Long tube.

With all of the DIY'ers here, I'm surprised nobody is considering molding the HR manifold & adding bigger TB necks/mounts

Just buy two MAF housings from any previous VQ35DE engine and some silicone reducers. Also need a MAF adapter for the inlet.

DE MAF housing dimensions are:

Inlet I.D. ~2.843 in.
Outlet I.D. ~2.947 in.
Outlet O.D. ~3.147 in.

3in-to-2.75in reducer for the outlet side. The actual I.D. of 2.75in silicone tube is around 2.8 in. The 3in end is an extremely tight fit on the DE MAF, mount that tube first and forget about making any adjustments from that joint and assume that MAF assembly and reducer are an integrated piece.

I took a dremel to the sharp edge transitions at the outlet, but if doing it again, I probably would leave it alone. Modifying the stock parts makes your parts 1-of-1, and you'd have to do that for any replacements.

The stock MAF tube on the HR are around 2.65in O.D and 2.33in I.D. almost all the way through. The small lip at the end of the tube has an I.D. of around 2.54in. The increase in MAF area is pretty significant. I'm still waiting for nicer weather to install and tune mine, but MAF screens ahead of the sensor might be something to consider particularly at lower RPM and loads. Depending on what issues arise, it may be worth the small decrease in max power, if any.

I wasn't sure what piping diameter Injen uses, and guessed it was 2.75-2.80in. That gives a pipe I.D. of around 2.60-2.65in. The silicone intake tube replacements are sized like standard silicone tubes and the I.D. is around 2.8in. but requires an aluminum joiner anyway to mate to the reducer, so there's still a point in the flow path that is reduced to 2.60-2.65in.

If you have UpRev Tuner, a 33% increase to K-Value should bring the tune within the right ball park. In a perfect scenario that's all that will be required, but realistically you're probably looking at months of logging and manually fine tuning the MAF table. This is where the MAF screen may or may not be useful. Going larger inevitably results in decreased low voltage resolution so it becomes imperative that the readings are consistent with relatively low variance.

Got a 3 pulls on the dyno scheduled for monday guys. My base was 273 and I want to see if I experienced a loss similar to bmurray because of gears. Only some people notice a change in numbers on a dyno after gears its weird. Oh I now have injen cai too.

Just a small update guys. I went on the dyno today and I did not notice a loss in whp as murray did. I think that only happens with some cars on certain dynos. I made 291 whp and 249 wtq in 100 temp
