Custom 3" Intakes on VQ35HR project....
Murray, do one or two runs with the hood closed to see if engine bay heat will effect the gains from the intakes, that could also guide you whether to look into a long tube Cai versus short ram... To be frank I may go short ram if you get good gains, I'd just have to figure out some sort of heat shield

Speed holes for speed...make your own ram air boxes.

Some aluminum sheet metal, tin snips, a rivet gun, rubber door seals, and some free time!
Where did you get the little aluminum tubes for the pcv your making? I needs one and I can't find them any where

He's basically having to retune my car from scratch because the larger MAF housings like ****ed everything up.. i think he said something about redoing the whole maf table.. im sure you knowledgeable tuning guys know what he means? here's a little video of initial startup lol. sounds like cam lope
Jeez
I should've mentioned that Yeah you'll have to retune the MAF table because now the motor is seeing more air than its stock MAF is metered for.
We had tthe same issue in the BMW community when going to larger MAF, it was common to swap in a Porsche MAF, but then it required a bottom up retune.
Considering cin knows what they're doing I'm sure you'll be fine. To be honest, increasing the MAF diameter from the stock 2.5" IIRC to 3" will actually produce some considerable gains across the board, I think you should see gains across the whole rpm range, fingers crossed!

where'd you get the metal tubes for the breather hoses?
