Well this was after I already drove around, let the engine and trans warm up, came home, did the relearn, and started driving around the block. And I wasn't too cold today. While it was raining it was still around 65 degrees. I'll try again tomorrow because now I can swap them out in about 5mins...skills?

Well just tried it once again....same result as the video. I made sure I had no electronics on and or plugged. Drove a little, did the relearn, drove a little more, did the relearn again, and drove some more with no change. So I'll need a professional to adjust my idle for me. I really thinks its because of my AT, some how.

I think just cause of the tune and the auto. Because several other guys have done this with no issues, but they are MT. And I don't think it makes a difference the M45 TB was on a V8 instead V6. I think the tune has the butterfly set at a specific angle. But with the larger volume of this TB, that same angle is allowing apparently a lot more air in and causing the idle to fluctuate and be so high.
Wish I was smart enough and had the software to fix this myself.

I got some rocks tied together with string...you think that'll help? Yeah seems like auto + tune is unhappy but once you get it all sorted out I bet great throttle response and decent gains.

Well, fiddled some today since it was raining. Put my new V+ plenum on and I can tell they changed their moldings to be thicker around the bolt holes. Mine is thinner by about 2mm! But before I did that I tried the TB install one more time. IT WORKS....sort of. I got no CEL after doing everything possible to prevent it. Did every single relearn thing, but the idle was still high, the down shift were still jacked up, and the throttle so dam sensitive. Here's a video of what I mean by how sensitive it is, and how the high idle kept pulling.
So it was raining, and I just kept making laps around my block, that's why I kept turning the wheel. My normal idle is 750-800, and the needle just jumps around like a mother.

Naw, not yet. Tried contacting a some what local shop that is uprev certified, but they didn't respond to my email. And I don't feel like driving all the way to Z1 just to have Jon adjust the TB positioning.
Biggest concern right now beyond TB positioning is the TB actually rubs the underside of my hood. So I don't think I'm going to get it tuned until I can find a hood that'll fit over the TB.
