neither one are oem, your tube is possibly the problem, but i highly doubt your intake will affect smog... correct me if im wrong but that is due to gases released into the atmosphere aka, your exhaust...

if anything i would suggest the z1 motorsports tube, its affordable and is probably what your looking for.

That would definitely seem to make sense if we lived in a state that made sense. In CA even if your exhaust is as clean as a electric go cart if your parts don't have CARB stickers on them you will fail.

Yeah you're going to want to swap out your entire setup, and is your throttle body painted?

PS missing a bolt on your strut brace.

Looks like the intake pipe had a CARB number but the sticker is ripped. I think I can make out "C.A.R" then it's ripped off from there.

Keeps the front unibody from twisting under hard cornering. Missing a high-strength bolt will not spread the lateral load on the mounting plate. Translation: your Z won't handle as well at speed.

Correct, well besides the filter any walmart filter will do. But as above mentioned there may have been a carb sticker previously on your intake; you could try contacting the company to get another sticker.
