Default Clearance Issue w/ Plenum Spacer

I just installed the plenum spacer from Z1 Motorsports and I'm having a clearance issue with the strut tower brace and the plenum. For now I'm just using washers to space it, but it's barely enough to slip a piece of paper between the strut tower brace and the plenum?

Anyone else install one of these and do something different for clearance? Can I just get rid of the STB all together?

You can drive without it. You'll lose some rigidity/stability but nothing major. The G35 doesn't even have one.

Most kits have washers required to space it out. Or get an aftermarket bar, I personally would remove the spacer before the bar, it's a chassis brace, it's important.

IMHO divide all the fender washers equally between driver and passenger sides and install, you really don't need much clearance between the strut bar and plenum, maybe 3mm.
Drive it for a week and inspect for scuff marks on both the plenum and inside of hood, adjust if necessary. Gl!

So that was part of my next step, cause when the engine warms up its up against the strut bar. I'm pretty sure I have like 3-4 washers spacing it out too, but I'll have to double check that after work

I had mine off for several years, then once back on, realized how much of a difference it makes around the bends.

You can get around without it. I want to open a new care centre in my city, but I don't know how to start a company. So I went online and discovered a website called americanceliac.org/business-plan-for-urgent-care-center-bring-higher-profits/ where I can view business ideas for my new care centre.

You can also get around barefoot but not many care for that.

No snow in San Francisco. However, living at the bottom of the hill meant a steep walk up to school and then at 1337hrs PST, the daily Earth rotational phase shift occurred (1837 GMT) which had the result of transfixing the school to the now bottom of the hill creating a 45° incline going home until 0642 hrs the following day.

Life was tough on the Western frontier.

But it made me a better person, giving me the ability to always look upwards to achieve my goals.

And you shoulda seen the tricked out, modded, badass, 2 horsepower vehicle I built at 12.
