I'm looking to put on hf cats on. I know the RT's are known for a raspy sound. Which cats have the least sound impact on the exhaust.
Thanks
Thanks
Based on what I have read in other "Threads" and "Posts", asking same question, I decided to go with Kinetix High Flow Cats. The Kinetix Plenum has been installed and with a little help from FedEx, cats will arrive by next Thursday or Friday and be installed immediately. Kinetix currently has a fantastic package price for Plenum and Cats.
I could BARELY tell ANY difference in sound with my stock exhaust when I added my cats...
Stick with the company who made the original high-flows for the 350Z!!! More so brings only RACE INSPIRED parts...
Crawford's!!!!

I'll chime in and say the Ultimate Racing ones - I added them and the Y ipe at the same time to my car (Apex'i Hybrid Megaphone exhaust), and acar is the same up till about 4500 as it was before, and literally just a touch louder from 4500 to redline....and the cats have a 5 year warranty

Crawford's website is down, and Kinetix website doesn't want to take my order.

The exhaust & muffler does play a big part in the final equation; as I have the PE steel cats/Nismo headers/stock exhaust & muffler and the difference, if any, is hardly noticable at all. Will be changing the Y pipe/exhaust & muffler (on order); will see how it sounds then.
