Default RT Cats lifetime

For the people whose RT cats are messed up, how long (miles and/or months) did they last for? And whats this thing about them running lean? Does it mean not enough air into the engine? How do you fix this condition? Thanx everyone.

I have the cats for over 3000 miles and no problems.
Also know a few guys with them with more miles than that on them and no problems.

If they should fail because of a defect I would replace them with another brand. So far so good. I am happy with them

Got the Kinetix resonated test-pipes for this very reason =) No raspiness, no loudness, just maximum airflow.

RT cats have a horrible reputation over on the maxima site... I know the insides of mine came apart within one month of purchasing it.

I have 3000+ miles on mine, but I am suspicious something is going on with them.....

Sitting Idling the other day the car was missing, and I've noticed the power is sometimes learchy.

It may be the start of implode.
