Unhappy Kinetix has my $$ and wont reply

Hello everyoe,

I ordered the hi flow cats/plenum package on 5/19 from kinetix racing. Initially they had told me it would be here in 2 weeks. Well were now 5 weeks later and I have yet to hear or see anything from them. I have sent a few emails over the last 2 weeks asking the status of my order but I have yet to receive one response!

I know these guys have always been legit in the past but this is getting stupid. I have sent emails to both "jamisonl@msn.com" and "support@kinetixracing.com" to no avail. All i want is a simple response letting me know they are still there and will be shipping the product i paid for 5 weeks ago. Any suggestions on what I should do?

You would think a company that focuses on internet sales could answer an email... I shouldnt have to pick up the phone.

I guess yer right. I just hate getting passed around on the phone for 20 minutes just to get an answer. Not that it has happened with Kinetix but that just seems to happen all the time with whoever i call. Email is just 1000% easier IMO.

I like using emails better too. Just so I can type, send, and check back when ever I have time. But not sitting there holding the phone for someone to pick up....at work.

emails are convenient for sure....and they really work well for making complaints as i have found out on a couple of occasions....as in talking to someone on the phone that just blows you off

hope you get your situation resolved pharmboy

in the time it took you to write and respond in this thread, you could have just called and got an answer..

I think the hold up is due to the V4 plenum. I was told that they would be shipping out in a week. They are trying to make the V4 the LAST plenum with no issues.

Yep, it's because they're making the V4 plenums. Everyone in the Kinetix group buy is still waiting as well....

yeah, don't worry, Kinetix has THIRTY guy's money (from group buy) - he's not going to ship you anything until he can get you a V4...

They have responded to my email 4 times on the 16th once on the 20th and once on the 21st. My plenum cracked and they have been very helpfull but probably just busy trying to get things done. Hang in there.

Kinetix is a small company with 5-6 people. V4 is probably receiving all their attention. They have the BEST customer service and I remain confident you will receive a reply. Call on send another e-mail.

I can never get anyone to answer the phone, it always says to leave a message even though it is during business hours. They have been OK about e-mailing though

I would say that you should just sit tight. They will respond eventually. I ordered a set of HI-Flow cats with an additional bung before the cat for my wideband and asked that they get them to me within 14 days or something like that. They kinda did make the deadline but it took Jamison to change the shipping address after they shipped which there was some confusion on. I ended up getting the wrong part with the bung in the wrong place. I got the cats with resonators with the bung in the wrong place. He did refund the difference in price plus the price of the bung...

Point being that he responded to all of my emails.

Yeah i ordered a set of test pipes from kinetix on 6/7/04 and its been 2 1/2 weeks and they are still not here. I am not worried about it because i sent them emails and they said it will ship out on monday the 28th because they are really backed up right now. As for picking up the phone, the number they give on their site doesnt work. Its an automated pricewise company thing. So emails are still the best way. Your not the only one waitin bro

Just to let everyone know what the deal is with Kinetix. I organized the GB on the plenums. AT the initial start of the GB they were going to give the V3 plenums. Since they got close to 30 people to go in on the GB, they decided to work on the new V4 plenum. As said before, they only have 5 employees and they are hurrying to make at least 30 plenums. I organized the GB and have had problems corresponding with them but in the end everything has worked out nicely. Just hang in there and they will come thru.
