Would the chrome tube transfer heat to the air faster than the stock plastic one? How would it sound?

Unless you replace your headers with aftermarket ones there is a heat shield right on top of the OEM headers. The heat shield keeps the OEM intake tube as well as any aftermarket CAI cool. Add a vented hood and things cool down a little bit more.

I would not dig to much for performance gains from the pipe alone.. It is primarily and aesthetic Mod.. However It is functional with a Popcharger, Nismo panel filter, BLitz panel filter, and K&N panel filter..

Is this the same CF tube that is being offered by Unlimited Tuning or someone else? Please let me know because I'm ready to buy.

Thanks

The nISMO S1 engine pipe is a little bigger than this and longer.
