Default What to do to get transmission replaced?

Ok, what do I have to do to convince my dealer to replace my transmission? My 3rd gear grinds and 2nd 'locks out' sometimes. The problem is the 3rd gear doesn't grind all the time. So every time the dealer has looked at it they say they can’t find anything wrong. My warranty is going to run out in about 13,000 miles and I want to get this taken care of before it ends up fragging and I have to pay for it my self.

I think what makes my car a bit different than others is I spend probably 95% or more time on the freeway. So its 6th gear almost all the time. This probably makes it seem like my transmission has lasted 'longer' but really it just hasn't had the same amount of use per mile as others.

Maybe I'm just worrying too much about it, but I'm afraid that something will come back to haunt me if I don't get it replaced before the warranty runs out.

What do you guys think?

LMAO...I am in the same boat, all freeway and I am so paranoid that I just want to get the newest tranny, I need to learn a way to get a new one just so that I don't end up buying one right after warranty goes out.

My dealers out here in AZ are stubborn they think these cars are perfect and that nothing could possibly be wrong with them.

Yes, but I'm almost to 60,000 miles. So I'm hoping to get this taken care of soon. Its really hard right no tho with xmas and what not going on. Hopefully I'll be able to look into this more in Jan.
