Vibration
I have a 2004 Touring Roadster. It has about 6,600 miles on it. A couple hundred miles ago, it started vibrating. No problems at all with the car until now. This is no minor vibration. The entire car vibrates. I can't see out of the rear view mirror because it is shaking so bad. Seems to be worse the faster I'm going. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know what is causing it?
It is pretty much constant. More pronounced at higher speeds. As best I can tell, it seems to be a little worse when decelerating. It is better or worse at different times. I haven't really been able to nail down any exact thing that is happening when it is worse.
Do what seanlaw said. If you recently had it aligned, then your tires might not be balanced properly. I had this happen on my beater vehicle. Got new tires and alignment done, but they didn't properly balance the tires and was shaking at higher speeds. Ii took it back and they fixed it.
sounds like one of your tires isnt balanced right to me. or, it could be worn down wierd. check the tire wear if they are balanced correctly. have you hit any potholes or curbs recently?
