Default Question about door locks - Please Help!

I was recently informed that by pressing the unlock button on the key fob and holding it would open the windows...and that if I used the key in the door and turned towards the lock position and held it, the windows would go up. Both of these features worked, and if I had read the manual when I bought the car, I would've known that
Problem is, now my doors are automatically locking when I get out of the car and close the door. They never used to do that. I absolutely hate that feature and really don't feel like getting locked out of my car. Could someone tell me how to disable this automatic door locking feature. I checked the manual, but don't see anything that specifically says how to disable. Thanks very much.

After you start your car and the doors lock automatically, press the lock button three times. This will turn the automatic locking off.

I don't know, try both.

I have the KP Technologies "window-up" mod. I can raise my windows by pressing the key fob lock button twice. I quoted their instruction book.

Your doors automatically lock after you start your car? Mine don't, are they supposed to?

Mine do.....but it is because I have the KP Technologies module add-on.

I am able to turn the automatic door locking on or off by pressing my key fob lock button three times.

Ok. I was just making sure mine didnt already have it on there. I hate that feature, myself. I had that on my last car and ended up locking myself out all the time if I left the car running but got out of the car for a min.
