Car Jerking in 1st gear, VDC/SLIP light turn on automatically.
Hello,
Just wanted to know if you guys can help me out.
I have an 04 Performance model Z, recently I have come across a problem. When ever I start up my car and pull out of a parking lot, driveway etc, my car start to jerk really bad as if my breaks are kicking in and out. Once I hit second gear my VDC light turns on and the SLIP light follows. Everything seems to work perfect after that.
Now, everytime I start my care I have to turn off my VDC by hitting the button and take of in first then quickly shift to 2nd to avoid any jerking. I have seen that even if I have the VDC off, the problem isnt really gone till the slip light also turns on.
quick summary,
Turning off VDC and SLIP light on = No no jerking, runs ok.
VDC on or off with no SLIP light = Problems.
Help please..
Thanks,
