Default Cant roll my Window down?? WTF??

Only had the car for one week...sigh....anyhow, last night i was fine, today however, at lunch i tried getting some air, and i cant roll my drivers side windown down. I do NOT have the window lock button on at all. I can roll the passenger side down like normal. But my drivers side does nothing whatsoever.

also, I didnt buy my car at a nissan dealership, but since it is still under warranty, can i just go to any nissan dealership and have it serviced. What do i need to bring with me if i go??

Thank you in advance.

I'd say bring all the papers that you have regarding your car.

... and maybe some KY Jelly in case they don't want to fix it under warranty

j/k

had the same problem with u. 1 week into my purchase, my passenger side window would not open. The windows on our cars tend to go bad. Yours was pre-owned i'm assuming. I bought my car at an infiniti dealer and the car had a 30 day dealer warranty so they fixed it for free. Since its only a week, u should go back to the dealer where u bought your car and tell them to take care of it. You shouldn't have to go through the trouble of bringing it to the dealer. they should never have sold u a car with a faulty window motor. Good Luck buddy!!

Yeah the window motors is a known issue on the Z, if you explain to the dealer they should know what you're talking about. I had the same problem. They replaced mine under warranty, no charges.

yep, hold the up position window switch as you bang against the inside door (around where the regulator sits behind the door cover) and it will pop on up all suddenly...totally ghetto, no matter how many times u reset it, it WILL eventually come back...no matter how many times you have the dealer fix it, they replace it with the same part number regulator that will break again in due time...
