Default TCS/slip lights on

This morning I made a quick stop on the way to work. When I got back in the car and started it, the TCS and slip lights are both on. Hitting the TCS switch has no impact on the lights. Turned car off and back on. Lights are still on. Car drives normally.

Any ideas what caused this? I have an appointment at the Nissan dealer for Monday.

Have you checked brake fluid? How about pads, are they worn?

No. I haven't. The lights did not come back on after the car sat all day while I was at work. Seems odd that low brake fluid would cause both TCS-related lights to come on and stay on.

Low fluid will cause the Brake light to come on. Low pads will also cause one of the lights to come on too.
