Default I made the Change.

I just did my first oil change in my new z. Not too bad. I went to Royal Purple and I was reading in these threads that after your first oil change you should change it again after 1000 miles. I think this is what I read. Maybe not. I dont understand why they say to change it only after 1000 miles. I am thinking it is to make sure that all of the original oil is removed. Is this true or did I read wrong??? Thanks guys for all of the info on oil changing. Made it harmless.

if you really drain all of the old oil out of your car I would say you are fine but people tend to say that a mix of synthetic and dyno oil will bubble up. with synthetic oil you want to always run the same oil all the time.

I have seen oil catch cans which are advertised as taking the airbubles out of the oil and helping keep the oil cooer. Is there any truth to this??? maybe this can help new2350.
