Because of condensation ? Since u dont give ur location, that hinders me a little not knowing what ure atmospheric conditions are.
The head lights have, on the upper rear, breathers. If they are obsructed conden. has no way to get out. If they are working right, when u burn the lights it will disapate the moisture.
The lens can be removed if it gets to that, and dried, then reassembled. And when I say dried i mean over a 24 hr period. Although, the assy is put in an oven to loosen the lens so that will start the drying process.

BTW--If all else fails, I have a real nice set of non Xenons that can be converted using ur parts to Xenon

He's more than likely talking about the def that some of the older model 350Z's have. My 2003 Z has a haze in the headlights that won't go away also. There's not too much one can do about it, other than take it apart or replace them.

If so --- I buff mine out with an electric buffer and compound and they look like the day they were new.

COST: $4.00

No its def condensation, water is dripping in the inside throughout the whole headlight. I was going to take it apart and bake it, but is it tough to take out the headlights? Im pretty mechanically sound, i do all my work myself.

If it is condensation, then I believe you have a bigger isssue... If the headlights have built moisture already, and the lights haven't evaporated it already, I believe your problem will return...

The headlites have a breather, its on the back, rubber and u -shaped, it has a small filter in it. If it obstructed....clear it....it pulls off. Then if you have condensation, burn ur lites until it disapates, nite and day.

Or you can remove it, oven bake it, install some clear corners, seal it up with some black silicone, hairdry the hell out of it, then put it back.

Just look for a DIY on how to open up your headlights...might as well paint them as well. Clean it up good, seal'em up and you're problem is gone.

Last weekend I was looking at my headlights and thought they were getting a haze on the inside. Mine is an '03. I decided to use some Meguiars PlastX and all the haze came off. It was on the outside so now the headlights look like new.

Hazing of the headlights is pretty common on most cars and there are lots of products in the auto parts stores to get them clear again.

check out 350 tech website from wiki, it's in the electrical part, they have a good tutorial in how to remove your headlights.

something similar happened to my Z, inner passenger fender fell off water got into the headlight. ballast might have fried, need to take out the whole headlight, dry out the ballast, replace bulb.

Eazzzzzzy PM sent i might need that right headlight

I had that on my 2003 also but its not water under the headlights its uv damage. you can buy meguires plast-x and put it on a micro fiber towel ( works best ) and just give it a good wipe down.
