So today I installed a race seat on the driver's side and I installed each side of the 2.2 ohm resistor to the airbag harness so that one side of the resistor went to one wire and the other side went to the other wire. I turned on the car and the airbag light was on so I tried to airbag reset procedure alot of time and nothing worked. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

still having the same problem...should I just try to stick the two ends of the resistor in the harness? I know it sounds stupid but I recall seeing a member here doing that and it worked.

I think I may have found the problem. I realized that I was using the WRONG resistors. I bought resistors with 2.2K ohm which is 2200 ohm but we are suppose to use 2.2 ohm total resistance. I couldn't find any 2.2 or 2 ohm resistors at radio shack so I think we both might have the same problem.

Yeah, I finally solved the problem today. Since I couldn't find any 2.2 or 2.0 ohm resistors at radio shack, I just bought 10 10 ohm resistors (5 for each side) and soldered the ends together to get a total resistance of 2.0 ohm. Basically, I followed the directions on this old thread (scroll to the writeup on the bottom of the page) https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....light=resistor
So yeah, Rog1206 you should try check what kind of resistors your using to see if it is 2.2 ohm or 2.2k ohm.
