Post oil change oil pressure
So I changed my oil this weekend for the first time (Mobil 1 5w30), and I am noticing higher oil pressure both at idle when warm and under throttle. Even at like 3500 RPM its pegged on 120 psi. I looked around a bit and found a few similar comments, but no consensus. Anyone else observe the same thing.
Car is an '07 by the way.

Mobil 1 5W30, reading up to 120 lbs under full throttle, after oil change, by 3,500 rpms.
The oil level is spot on, so I assume this oil just puts the pressure up a bit too high. I will probably drain it and go with another brand.

It will be fine... high oil pressure then the engine is cold is ok, but it's best not to push your car to the limit until it's fully warmed up.
Keep in mind, your oil will still be "cold" (i.e. not fully warmed up) long after your temperature gauge reaches normal operating temperature (middle of the gauge)
and cold oil always shows higher oil pressure.
fresh oil changes usually show higher oil pressure as well.
