Default Help! My car won't accelerate!

So here is the situation. Last night I got a flat tire, and its not repairable. No problem right? I order a pair of tires. I have a extra set of rims and the old stock tires, I get them mounted and put them on the car. Go out for a drive and when I try to accelerate at all, the slip light comes on. I can't even gradually accelerate. Everything works fun whenever I turn off VDC, but I'm going on a trip this weekend and I wanted to take a fun car. Please help, I don't know what is wrong.

Front tires: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 235/50ZR18

Rear tires: Stock Potenzas (225/45R18) I think

All on stock touring rims.

you need at least 255/45/18 tires for the rear.

I had 245/50/18s on there before and it was fine.

Just turn the VDC off and practice a little throttle control.

If the ratio in tire sizes is off even by the littlest it will trip the computer, throwing the slip light and sapping your car of power.

I wanna have VDC if I hit rain, as for throttle, I already have enough control, but I like having VDC as added protection.

Are you sure your factory tires in the REAR were 225s.

use a jack and jackstands if you don't have a lift. and make sure to torque the lugs the proper amount. tho if you have to ask that...it might be good to get some help :-)

^^^ those are the tires that came with the stock rims, I'm guessing the previous owner didn't buy smaller tires, idk.

ok, I'll switch them this afternoon, but now when I'm driving (VDC off) the ABS and Brake lights come on, WTF? my car is going crazy!

That is because they sense the tires/wheels are off. My G35 did it on the dyno. You need to get the right size tires on the car. Even if you just move them to the front the car will still freak out because the tires are too far off from each other.
