Help ECU+VDC+Brake+Battery light are all on!
I was wondering if someone could give me some advise on what might be going on.
I have a 2003 Touring Z w/ no mods.
I was driving to work today and all of sudden out of the blue, my battery and hand brake light came on. This was followed by the Slip and VDC lights as well. Next thing I know the car has no power and I can only go 5 mph. Periodically its as if the ecu resets (all of the lights go off) and it will let me get up to 8-10 mph before kicking in again (all the lights coming on).
In addition the battery meter was off the charts!
So I figured i'd try to turn the heat on because that usually helps cool a car down considering its 90 degree's outside. However the temperature gauge was at normal operating temperature.
Doing this solved the problem and I was able to drive back. The lights went away and the battery gauge was back to normal. However as soon as I turned the air off the problem came back.
I stopped and checked the engine to see if something was overheating and nothing looked like it was. My coolant resvoir tank seems about 1/2 filled as well.
So my question is does anybody know wtf is going on w/ my car???

Its been happening to me for a week.. VDC Off, Brake, and Slip lights are all on, always. It's a pain in the ***. The brake one goes on and off... if it goes off and I have to brake hard it comes back on. I assumed a wire was loose or fuse blown?
