Default Noise coming from underneath the Z

I noticed recently that when standing outside my car near the passenger side when the engine is running. I can hear air coming out in short burst from underneath the Z. I was wondering if anybody has ever heard this too and if its normal?

Also I just order some NGK spark plugs and a new air filter is there any other maintenance type stuff. I can do to try and get the Z back to as fast as it was when I first bought it? Cause lately It feels like I need to stomp on the pedal to get it moving. The Z currently has 31000miles on it.

put the car on jack stands and start it to see where the air is actually coming out from. Locate it.

As far as maintenance, you can do spark plugs, air filter, oil change, tranny fluid change, differential fluid change, injectors cleaner, fuel filter change..all of these are pretty easy to change out. The spark plugs might take you awhile because it's really hard to get to. you have to have small hands and fingers to do it quickly.

the dealer replaced the trans, but for the first few days it wasnt making any noise, the fourth day the noise was back, but not as bad as it was before,
i also noticed that the noise stops after pressing on the clutch a few times and everytime i go back to the dealer it stops making that rattle noise, i hear it everytime i get home from work, my guess is that the noise will be constantly and i will take it back to the dealer when this happens, but for now it makes that noise once in a while.

rattling and ticking noise from the transmission is normal. thats just how they are you will never get rid of it. casing is very thin with very little material to deaden the sound. i work on G's daily and they all do it.

i dont know what noise you are talking about exacty so i cant answer that question. Chrystal ball is one of few things i wish i had. whole post was about noise at idle anyway...but form what you are saying now it sound likt its either driver error as far as miss matching rpm or dual-mass flywheel which is known to make a clunking noise when it sticks.

I took it to the dealer on several occasions for noise from my transmission. I have a soft rattle, and when I depress the clutch it goes away. My guess is that it's the throwout bearing, nothing serious but noisy. I can hear mine, pretty load, from about 16k to current mileage of 57k. You can hear it well when you pull into the garage.

if you guys are talking about a clicking noise when you let the clutch out its an axel click. from your rear axel. if you take it to the dealership they should fix it in no more than an hour. hope this helps
